· ACTIVE ARTIST ALLIANCE, Fredonia, New York
Member 2005 - Present
Purpose: To develop a network between artists and creative communities venues for the production and display of art. To raise social consciousness and political awareness throughout the greater arts community and the communities in which we live. To make artists and students aware of education, employment, funding opportunities, arts related services, and events in their respective areas, and to eventually provide funding for artists and other organizations in the form of grants.
· PRATT ARTIST’S LEAGUE
2006 - 2008
Purpose: The Pratt Artist’s League serves as a liaison between the administration, faculty, and student body of Pratt Institute. We provide opportunities for students to establish and further their careers in the New York art world through such events as open studios, on-campus and off-campus shows. In addition, we have a website that contains featured student work and profiles, valuable links, faculty-chosen notable exhibition lists, and a calendar of events. We also work with other Pratt fine art activities, such as the Visiting Artist Series.
